Temple Trip Lord Ventkateswara-Govinda-Krishna

We met Carol ( from Vancouver) at the front desk of our hotel, who had just come from the Neyyar Dam Sivananda Ashram, such a small world. So the three of us decided to hire a car to take us to a Hindu Temple in Tirumal, the town, which holds the temple for Tirupathi Padmavathi Temple, hold the Lords diety. It is customary to donate hair, so we brought our little scissor to donate hair, when we got there we saw thousands of bald human, from little children to old folks, and we knew them we were way out of our religious league. It only got worse, crushed and gropped in cattle gates for hours. A riot broke out, we three females had to lock arms to stay upright. We had our glance at the diety, and then worked equally hard to get out of the throngs of people. Some people we spoke to had done this trek, which via local bus, waiting time, and departure took 10-12 hours a number of times per month to give gratitude for health, or gifts they received. Dedicated.
